IREN MUSINA

painting, tapestries
In  2015 she graduated from the Ural State Academy of Arts with a degree in Interior Art (department of artistic textiles). From 2018 to 2022 designed and made tapestries for private interiors for customers from Russia and from abroad. In  2021, she studied at the  Art Boost and  Art Project online residences at the  Get Art Fit school for artists.
Textile is the central direction in the artist’s creativity. Her  primary interest  is creating complex textured surfaces for every object she works with. She experiments with fibers of different compositions and properties, "follows" the material and looks for visual solutions in combining techniques such as weaving, embroidery, weaving, knitting and felting.
